Overview

The Mukhya Mantri Yuva Udyami Yojana (MMYUY) is an initiative of the Government of Madhya Pradesh aimed at promoting entrepreneurship among educated youth.
The scheme provides financial assistance, interest subsidies, and loan guarantees to help young entrepreneurs start new manufacturing or service-based enterprises in the state.

It focuses on creating a strong ecosystem for youth-led startups and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), thereby boosting local employment and industrial growth.

  • Loan Assistance for New Businesses

    • Provides bank-linked project loans between ₹10 lakh and ₹2 crore.

    • Applicable for setting up manufacturing, service, or trading units.

  • Interest Subsidy

    • Government provides an interest subsidy of 5% per annum for up to 7 years, reducing the financial burden in the initial years of business operation.

  • Loan Guarantee and Margin Money Support

    • The State Government acts as a loan guarantor for approved projects.

    • Margin money assistance up to 15% of the project cost (maximum ₹12 lakh) is provided by the government.

  • Collateral-Free Loans

    • For projects within certain limits, collateral may be waived under the CGTMSE (Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises) scheme.

  • Repayment Flexibility

    • Loans can be repaid over a period of up to 7 years, including a moratorium period of 6–12 months based on project nature.

  • Employment Generation Focus

    • Priority is given to projects that generate employment for others alongside self-employment.


Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Mukhya Mantri Yuva Udyami Yojana, the applicant must meet the following conditions:

  • Age Limit: Between 18 and 40 years.

  • Residency: Must be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh.

  • Educational Qualification:

    • Minimum of Class 12 pass from a recognized board or institution.

  • Business Type:

    • Must propose a new business venture in the manufacturing, service, or trade sector.

    • Existing businesses are not eligible.

  • Loan Status: Should not be a defaulter with any financial institution or government scheme.

The scheme covers a wide range of sectors, including:

  • Manufacturing units (e.g., food processing, textiles, engineering, handicrafts)

  • Service enterprises (e.g., IT services, logistics, repair workshops, healthcare)

  • Trading activities (within permissible limits)


How to Apply
  1. Online Registration

    • Visit the official portal: mmsy.mp.gov.in

    • Select “Mukhya Mantri Yuva Udyami Yojana” from the list of schemes.

    • Fill in the online application form with personal, business, and financial details.

    • Required documents include:

      • Aadhaar Card and Residence Proof

      • Educational Qualification Certificate

      • Business Plan / Project Report

      • Bank Account Details

      • Passport-size Photos

      • Category Certificate (if applicable)

  3. Project Evaluation

    • The District Task Force Committee (DTFC) reviews and approves eligible proposals.

  4. Bank Loan Processing

    • Upon approval, the loan is sanctioned by a nationalized, cooperative, or private sector bank, and the government subsidy/guarantee is processed.

  5. Disbursement & Business Launch

    • After funds are released, the entrepreneur must begin operations within the stipulated timeline and ensure proper utilization of funds.
