Mukhyamantri Swarojgar Yojana (Chief Minister Self-Employment Scheme) – Madhya Pradesh
Overview
The Mukhyamantri Swarojgar Yojana (MMSY) is a flagship initiative of the Government of Madhya Pradesh aimed at promoting self-employment and entrepreneurship among the state’s youth and small business aspirants.
The scheme provides financial assistance, including bank-linked loans and subsidies, to help individuals start micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in both the manufacturing and service sectors.
It seeks to reduce unemployment, promote rural and semi-urban entrepreneurship, and encourage local production and economic independence.
Key Features & Benefits for Business Owners
Financial Assistance for New Businesses
Entrepreneurs can get bank-linked loans to start or expand their business.
The scheme covers projects up to ₹50 lakh for manufacturing units and ₹25 lakh for service sector businesses.

Subsidy percentage depends on the entrepreneur’s category and location:
General Category: 15% subsidy (up to ₹12,000)
Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/OBC/Women/Disabled: 30–35% subsidy (up to ₹20,000–₹30,000)
